Your mission
To drive Mintres’ growth in Europe by identifying and developing new customers in the high-tech and semiconductor industries, while building strong relationships with our existing European customers. You will combine technical knowledge, customer interactions, and commercial thinking to understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and translate them into concrete projects and business opportunities.
What you’ll do
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities across Europe.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Work closely with Mintres’ development and strategy teams to translate customer needs into technical opportunities and solutions.
- Work alongside Sales to develop, qualify and follow up on opportunities.
- Understand customer requirements and clearly communicate Mintres’ technical capabilities and value.
- Meet customers across Europe and represent Mintres at customer visits, conferences and trade shows.
- Contribute to technical discussions, proposals and customer presentations.
- Monitor developments and trends in the high-tech and semiconductor industries to identify new opportunities.
- Take ownership of your work and be able to operate independently, while being part of a technical and collaborative team.
What you’ll bring
- PhD-level (or equivalent) background in a numerate physical science.
- Broad knowledge of materials science and semiconductor physics and/or chemistry.
- Genuine curiosity for technology and a willingness to keep learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect technical and commercial perspectives.
- Ability to understand complex technical challenges and translate them into customer opportunities.
- A proactive, independent and entrepreneurial way of working.
- Enjoy travelling and are not afraid to get your hands dirty.
